Yesterday when my dad flew up to pick me up from my awesome weekend with my wife, he asked my Grandpa if he wanted to come along. He is 89 and because of some of the meds he’s on he can’t pass medical to be current on his pilot’s license. My dad let my Grandpa fly up to get me and fly back. They were talking about getting him close to current. I hope they do. My Grandpa loves flying and I know it’s frustrating for him that he doesn’t have his pilot’s license anymore so this is the next best thing. I haven’t flown with my Grandpa for 15 or so years so it was exciting. I enjoyed every second of it.
